Dr. Fabrizio Fabbri, graduate in Natural Science at “La Sapienza” University in Rome. Since mid ‘80s he has been involved in public campaigns on environmental issues. He has served as campaigner, campaign director and scientific director with Greenpeace Italy from 1989 until April 2003. He has covered issues like ocean ecology, industrial toxic pollution and genetic engineering writing reports, scientific papers and books. He has taken part at international fora addressing environmental issues and has been chief Italian delegation of the Scientific Committee of the International Whaling Commission. Since 1998 he has been named Executive Director of the ISDE Scientific Office.
